IUI Treatment refers to an assisted reproductive technology known that stands for intrauterine insemination – a methodology of artificial insemination to assist couples desiring parenthood to become parents. The IUI procedure is especially helpful in cases of low sperm motility or low sperm count in men. IUI therapy helps in achieving a successful pregnancy by taking a batch of sperm, containing millions of individual sperm cells, and artificially dispensing them in the uterus using a pipette to enhance the chances of fertilisation, as opposed to the natural way of insemination through sexual encounter.

Since the sperms are directly inserted in the uterus through this procedure surpassing the vaginal and cervical passages after eliminating immotile sperms and removing debris, the sperms have a higher chance of reaching the fallopian tube and fertilising the egg.
